Join us for a taste of the ADAMAH program: five days of digging in Jewish tradition and in the soil. The class will balance study, working with our hands, singing and ritual aimed at restoring Jewish ecological wisdom. Learn to brew biodiesel fuel, grow organic vegetables on our five-acre farm, milk goats, make cheese and study our ancestral agricultural and earth-based heritage. During this week of the new moon of Elul, discover how the process of spiritual return is connected to the renewal of the ground. Participants will join Isabella Freedman’s ADAMAH Fellows in prayer, work in the field, new moon celebration and study sessions, and then celebrate our gratitude for the land with a joyful Shabbat.
