A Night to Remember - Wine Tasting & Silent Auction August 24, 2009

Michael-James Pennie will be twittering every step of the way as he climbs Mount Kilimanjaro September 15th - 24th, 2009 to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer Society of BC. In doing so, he plans to rally the business, marketing, and technology communities around the innovative Internet Marketing & Social Media campaign http://TweetToRemember.com - in which he seeks to set the record for the highest land-altitude twittering to date.

Kicking things off with a Wine Tasting & Silent Auction on the 24th of August, expect Vancouver's most fun and proactive people out for a night of socializing over fine wine.

Details as follows:

Who? You and Vancouver's most fun and exciting people, participating in a night on the town in support of a great cause!

When? Monday, August 24th 6:00 to 10:00PM. Silent Auction ends at 9:00PM

Where? The Wine Room @ Bentall One on Burrard and West Pender

How much? Tickets are $25 online, $30 at the door. This includes your wine flight and entry to the door prize.

What should I expect? A wine tasting, door prizes and silent auction. DJ Sean Gallagher spinning.

This is part of the Tweet to Remember campaign and all proceeds go directly to the Alzheimer Society of BC!

What wines will I taste? The wine flights showcase the Best of BC, red or white according to your preference. For those of you who don't consider yourselves wine aficionados we have on special Bellinis and Beer for only $3.99.

You are encouraged to order food and drinks beyond those included within the ticket price, as the staff have generously committed to a tip pool...

All tips will be donated to the Alzheimer Society of BC!
