A Night in Treme November 16, 2012

New Orleans music legends and stars of the blockbuster HBO series 'Treme' bring a rollicking night of Crescent City sounds. Wendal Pierce narrates the stories of the musicians, chefs, Mardi Gras Indians and ordinary New Orleanians as they try to rebuild their lives, their homes and their unique culture in the aftermath of the 2005 hurricane and levee failure that caused the near-death of an American city. This special event features a live musical performance by the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band along with special guests: Mardi Gras Indian Chief & alto saxophonist Donald Harrison Jr., Trombonist & vocalist Glen David Andrews, and Cyril Neville of the Neville Brothers.
