A NEW GLANCE AT HONEST ABE

(AUTHOR’S RECEPTION AND BOOK SIGNING)

Pendleton, Indiana - The public is invited to join Anderson University’s Associate Professor of History, Brian Dirch, for a new look at our sixteenth president at the Pendleton Community Public Library, 595 East Water Street, on Saturday March 29th at 10:00 a.m.

Dirch’s latest book, Lincoln the Lawyer, focuses on Lincoln’s years as an attorney. Dr. Dirch will discuss how Lincoln’s rather unorthodox courtroom techniques helped him to get the verdict he wanted.

The program is co-sponsored by the Pendleton Historical Museum and the Historic Fall Creek, Pendleton Settlement, Inc.

Period artifacts will be displayed by the Pendleton Historical Museum. Refreshments will be served at the author’s reception following the program.
