However, in the end, she finds hope and realizes that although life had left her in a state of brokenness, she was yet chosen. The writer of this play is Shayla Goldsmith-Tate, a native of Montgomery,AL who currently resides in Lake Mary, Florida, Her heart, however, remains in Montgomery. Shayla believes there are other people here who are experiencing some of the same things that she did…hurt, anger, and despair. She also knows that there is an answer for their situation. This knowledge is the genesis of “Broken, Yet Chosen.” Shayla wrote this play under God’s inspiration, and she and her husband, Jermaine have committed themselves to the vision of seeing people delivered by its message. So, come out and enjoy the star quality cast as they give you a show guaranteed to keep you wondering what will happen next as it inspires your heart and changes your life.
