A great day out at Northney Farm September 26, 2010

Tractor rides, cows being milked, guided walks across the grazing marsh, barbeque and an ice cream parlour – all these will add up to a great day out at Northney Farm on Hayling Island.

Throughout the day, there will be guided walks onto the Coastal Grazing Marsh. During the walks, a guide will explain the importance of the habitat, what wildlife benefits from this land and the important management role played by farmers.

Back in the farmyard, there will be an opportunity to meet with the farmers, Stan and Mary Pike. The milking parlour will be open and the cows will be milked in the afternoon.
