A Glimpse of Stocking April 30, 2010

The Phoenix Theatre in Bordon invites you to take a peep at the world of Burlesque on Friday 30 April.

Classified Productions is pleased to introduce its new play, ‘A Glimpse of Stocking’, packed with music, songs, fabulous frocks, film clips and polished live burlesque routines. This witty and heartwarming show tells the tale of the irrepressible Miss Maybe, a performer who tries to persuade Max, her devoted but straight-laced pianist and friend, to share her delight in the topsy turvy world of burlesque. Will they follow her dream together, in the footsteps of the great artistes of the past, or will their journey end right here?

Unusually, it is the show’s audience that decides whether or not it is ready for Miss Maybe’s special brand of sparkle and a grand finale to remember! To twirl or not to twirl those tassels – only the audience decides.
