Enjoy a rare performance of Southeast Asian music and dance featuring leading artists from Bali and Java. The music of Bali is dynamic and rhythmic and is primarily performed in Balinese Hindu ceremonies. The music of Central Java is languid and meditative and is performed in court and village ceremonies. Both are performed on enormous percussion orchestras made up of gongs, xylophones, drums and chimes known as gamelan.

Try the instruments after the concert!

TRADITIONAL INDONESIAN FOOD and a SILENT AUCTION OF AUTHENTIC INDONESIAN INSTRUMENTS AND CARVINGS will be available!
