A Community Kickoff for DisabledCommunity.Org
on Friday, January 4th, 2008 from 2-4 p.m
will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church and Center,
at 1187 Franklin Street (at Geary), San Francisco, CA 94109

DisabledCommunity.org (DCO), a clearinghouse of disability resources and information to help improve the quality of life for people with disabilities, their friends, caregivers and social service agencies will be conducting a community kick-off meeting.

After a brief introduction to DCO's values and goals, and an introduction from attendees, ice cream will be served. Please RSVP if you are coming and if you are bringing friends, so we don't run out of ice cream!

The event is free with an invitation or an RSVP.

A table will be available for other agencies flyers, brochures and other outreach materials.

If you know of someone who might be interested in attending or volunteering, please let me know and I will send you a flyer to email or post.
