A BIG RED WHITE AND BLUE CELEBRATION AT FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH FRESNO

A “Big Red”, White & Blue Celebration will be held at the First Congregational Church of Fresno on Saturday, June 26, 2010. This patriotic celebration that includes a BBQ, silent auction, concert, and ice cream social starts with dinner (chicken and beef kebobs, rice pilaf, roasted vegetables and salad) being served at 5:00 PM. The concert which will start at 7:00 PM, features patriotic songs and marches from the pre-revolutionary war era to the twentieth century will be performed by the Chancel Choir and the Women's and Men's Choruses of First Congregational, and Scott Horton on the Casavant Pipe Organ. The concert will honor current and past service men and women from all the branches of the military.
Advanced tickets are $25.00 for Adults, and $15.00 for Students. Tickets will be $30.00 at the door. This fundraiser benefits the Casavant Pipe Organ Restoration Fund.
