95th Anniversary of the Battle of the Somme. June 26, 2011

The Heroes of the Somme Flute Band will be laying a Wreath and unvailing a Plaque in the remeberence garden to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme, and the 500 soldiers from the Dingle area who died during the great war of 1914 -18.

In addition the event will be attended by staff members from Jigsaw who have kindly donated the plaque which will be unveiled during the commemoration.
The event will be supported by people from the Dingle area.
