Join 142 Throckmorton for their 8th Annual Writers with Attitude, featuring eight short staged readings of the newest works by the Playwrights' Lab. This year's participating playwrights are Hal Gelb, Dyke Garrison, Mercilee Jenkins, Lynne Kaufman, Cary Pepper, Martin Russell, Stanley Rutherford & Bernard Weiner. Directors are Hal Gelb, Phoebe Moyer and Ed Holmes.

Enjoy their newest developing works and then join us for a glass of wine and conversation afterwards. Each evening will have the same lineup.

Doctor Truth by Lynne Kaufman; directed by Ed Holmes: The legendary sexologist answers pressing queries from her audience but one question brings her up short.

Robbed by Dyke Garrison; directed by Ken Sonkin: Wallace Simpson and the Duke of Windsor discover her jewels have disappeared and are not happy about it.

Winning by Mercilee Jenkins; directed by Hal Gelb: Two old friends crack jokes about the Academy Awards. Can Jana win the Oscar pool and her fight with cancer?
