8th Annual Walk of Life 2009 April 18, 2009

IT'S TIME TO REGISTER for the 8th Annual Walk of Life to be held at Cramton Bowl on April 18, 2009. The Walk of Life is the major fundraiser for the Joy to Life Foundation. It is intended to raise awareness and dollars to help pay for free mammograms for women under 50 years of age. All funds that are raised stay in Alabama.

Registration will begin at 7 a.m. and the Run/Walk will begin at 8:30 a.m. It's a day of family fun complete with a Mighty Kid's Dash for children that will begin at 9:45 a.m. All participants will receive t-shirts, medals, and other special prizes.

In 2009, we will again feature the "My Story Booth" sponsored by Baptist Health. Survivors and family members are encouraged to come by and share their stories. We especially want to invite spouses and children to share from their unique perspectives.
