8static is Philadelphia's premier chiptunes/8bit video event. The first 8static took place on October 18th, 2008 as a part of DesignPhiladelphia.

8static takes place at Studio34, 4522 Baltimore Ave., Philadelphia, PA. SEPTA’s No. 34 trolley line (route map, schedule) will get you right in front of the venue, just signal the trolley driver to stop.
