83rd annual RosebudŽ OscarŽ Party February 29, 2004

Here is the information on our upcoming 83rd annual RosebudŽ OscarŽ Party that you all have been waiting for!! Drumroll if you please......
This year we wanted to do things a little differently.
We had wanted to give you a red carpet, star studded affair...unfortunately none of the "stars" I called responded! BUT... This year the Rosebud has teamed up with Chef Michael Feker and IL Mitos restaurant (by the way my favorite place to dine!) to bring you a night of culinary bliss. A three course meal fit for a starlet/star/wannabe/king/queen etc...!

first course: lobster cannelloni in a Mediterranean tomato sauce.
second course: beef loin topped with Portobello mushroom and crisped potato in a puff pastry crust
third course: chocolate layer cake with marsala wine berries.
Cost per person is $35.00 and we are taking reservations NOW. The above includes *free wine (by the glass) and free draft beer all night long!! WOW, call me crazy but that is a deal.
Operators are standing by: 414.607.9446, I would hurry (and really I mean that) as this event is going to sell out! Please have your credit card at the ready.
On top of that this year we will (again) be handing out ballots to cast your vote for the top 5 Oscar nominees. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive unbelievably beautiful prizes! DVD players, movies & posters.
When: Sunday Feb 29, 2004
Time: Our doors open at 6:00pm sharp
6:00 to 6:15pm ballots will be distributed.
6:45 all ballots must be turned in, any ballots not turned in will not be counted in the final drawing.
6:45 dinner will commence.
What to wear: Formal attire is mandatory (now if you don't have a gown or tux no problem) but dress up as nice& formal as possible!!! No Jeans, I repeat no jeans etc... or you will be turned away at the door.
7:00 the 76th Academy AwardsŽ show begins.
At the end of the show a drawing will be held and the winners named and awarded their prizes.
A photographer will be on hand to capture the magic moments and we will then be putting those pics on our website and milking the promotional value out of them... so if you are shy maybe this isn't for you!
* We are not skimping here my friends...this means your choice of our wine selection and of course all draft beers. Unbelievable!!!
