This is the "2nd Saturday" monthly photowalk of Lincoln, Nebraska Flickr users. Individuals from all places are welcome, any time.
Join us for Capital City Ribfest. Meet at 6:00 p.m. (if you can recommend a meeting place, please comment below). We will dine as a group at 8:00, and feel free to snack as you go. Remember a camera bag, or a large zip-loc, to keep your camera safe from sauce while you dine! Our event will wrap up around 9:00 p.m. but feel free to stick around for additional eats and live music.
The Nebraska Pork Producers' Capital City Ribfest is a 4 day summer street festival featuring award-winning BBQ and music. The 2006 event attracted 31,134 people! Ribfest is the largest, most popular summer event in downtown Lincoln.
WHERE: Just outside the Pershing Center on "N" Street, 16th Street to 14th; and Centennial Mall "M" to "O".
ADMISSION: Adults $3 / kids 11 years and under free. Plus prices for all food and beverages.
No coolers or outside food or beverages allowed in the festival area.
