From the emptiness of space, into the churning seas, through eons of violent volcanic eruptions, cosmic bombardments and tectonic collisions, into the air and finally to the place we call Earth, life has taken a miraculous journey that began billions of years ago and is still continuing today.
The evolution of life unfolds before your eyes on enormous screens above the stage as the Detroit Symphony Orchestra accompanies the images of Frans Lanting with a score by Philip Glass.
