Not only are two great bands playing together, Disco Volante has some of the east bays best dinning. If your a foodie who loves to discover great indie music, this is the night for you!

The Goldenhearts:
... With an ear for the romantic and the dramatic, the Goldenhearts bring a unique flavor to a familiar genre. The band alternates between electric and acoustic live performances, and they frequently feature a string quartet. Roger Rocha, (guitar, vocals) had a vision of a live band that would embody the angst and ecstasy of relationships. "Is There Love On Mars?”, the current record by this San Francisco - based band, is a textured roller-coaster ride of romance, danger, tragedy, and beauty. Drummer Chad Tasky and bassist Ari Gorman are the band's anchors, and viola player Jacob Hansen - Joseph leads the string section.

Girl Named T:
"My motivation for songwriting is founded on my life-long love of listening to popular music," she writes on her website. "I worshiped bands like The Beatles and The Beach Boys, and songwriters like Carole King and Smokey Robinson. They were brilliant and prolific, and as a shy girl growing up, I was inspired by their apparent confidence (especially with the opposite sex) and wanted to emulate it. Writing and performing allowed me to do this, to tap into the person I wanted to be: confidant, cool, quirky, while still allowing the awkward, unsettled girl inside me to have a voice. Mix that with the accessible pop-rock medium perfected by The Beatles, shaken up by alternative rock music like Pixies and Nirvana, and that’s basically my little world of songwriting."

We hope to see you,

Cheers!
