Legendary drummer and co-founder of the Grateful Dead, Bill Kreutzmann, and funky bluesman and voodoo electronic pioneer Papa Mali are joined by legendary New Orleans bassist George Porter Jr., and multi-instrumentalist Matt Hubbard to make up 7 Walkers, an electrifying hybrid of classic Bay Area rock and New Orleans funk. Formed in 2008, Kreutzmann calls the band's sound, "swampadelic," while Mali and the rest of the band consider themselves and their music "an open love letter to the city of New Orleans."
