It happens to all of us. Too often. We go out and do a painting en plein air. Or maybe in the studio. And it stinks. We hate everything about it. So we rush over and toss the detestable thing into the garbage can. We only relent when we remember that canvas is expensive. We can always scrape it off and paint something else over it. No need to waste good money just because another of our golden paintings crashed and burned.
