7 in Heaven's Explore Manison Walk Preserves November 21, 2010

Starting at 12pm
Nature Walk to see wildlife, explore the mansion, PACK LUNCH with WATER- we will picnic on the grounds.
DRESS in LAYERS to stay warm, or then peel off a layer if you warm up walking.
Don't forget your cameras!
Will try to bring a pair of binoculars to share too.
$5.00 CASH to event host for administrative costs.

Total of 550 ACRES OF fields, woodlands, ponds and estate grounds, Muttontown is Nassau County's largest nature preserve and one of the most beautiful settings on Long Island.

The preserve includes miles of marked nature trails with local wildflowers, trees, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians. Will try to get maps and brochures prior to hand our for our private tour

Muttontown also has several structures to explore, including the Chelsea estate, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
