6th Annual SF Crawfish Boil June 6, 2009

the RSVP list is closed and on-line pre-sales have ended as well. You can still get pre-sales though at the Lower Hater store (597 Haight st., Tues - Sun 12-7pm). Early attendance is suggested this event will sell out. There is a cut off at the door to ensure everyone gets enough food.

Each year they roll out a grip of crawfish to Crissy Field and boil these suckers up. This started as a small group of friends 5 yrs ago but has blown into a full day of crawfish boilin, tail bitin, head suckin', beer chasin ho-down with about 500 people and more crawfish alive than you have most likely seen (unless this is a Cajun reading this).

Here's the deal: $25 all you can eat + drink (try to avoid the 160qt boiling pots if you're a drunky-stumbler, will yah?). 11am - 6pm. West airfield @ Crissy Field (past Sports Basement, on the right ..before u get to warming hut).

they have a live jazz band performing some nawlin's zydeco cajuntastic tunes for you this year - and its a great location & a chance to attend a unique event in SF.
