1:00 PM Block Party and 2:30 Show (Doors Open: 2:30 PM)
Bakersfield Elementary Teachers Association (BETA) presents: The 6th Annual Read Across Bakersfield ~ Dr. Seuss’ Birthday Celebration. Join BETA for the Block Party Pre-show events right outside the Fox Theater for photos with The Cat in The Hat, face painting, a book walk, games, music and much more! Then inside The Fox for storytelling with celebrity readers and a showing of "The Lorax" movie. The Block Party starts at 1:00PM, and Show starts at 2:30PM. TICKETS ARE FREE and available at The Majestic Fox Theater, or the Bakersfield Elementary Teachers Association office at 837 H Street.
