AIMS invites you to join us at the 6th Annual Little 500 Car Show in Downtown Anderson Town Center Saturday, May 17

Anderson, Indiana - Saturday, May 17, 2008, AIMS will host the 6th Annual Little 500 Car Show in Downtown Anderson. The day will begin with an ‘Anderson White River Run’ at 9:00am, and the Car Show will begin at Noon. The day will consist of a 10K run and continue with a showcase of entertainment, cars, trucks, and motorcycles. There will also be fun, food, movies and arts & crafts for kids in and around Anderson Town Center and Meridian Street .

Anderson White River Run will begin Registration @ 8:45am; Kids @ 8:30am; and Run @ 9am. The run, designed by the Anderson Road Runners, will begin at the Anderson Town Center , proceed North and continue around the Anderson trail system throughout Shadyside park. Runners will return to 12th and Meridian , at the Town Center , for the Finish.

Downtown Arts: include the Paramount Theatre showing “Cars” sponsored by the Madison County Visitors Bureau and Children’s Arts & Crafts Area sponsored by the ANDERSON Center for the Arts.

The 6th Annual Little 500 Car Show will begin at Noon and proceed until 5:00 pm.

ü There will be “Top 30 Awards”, and dash plaques & goodie bags for the first 100 registered custom

cars, trucks and motorcycles.

ü Vintage cars from Midwest Vintage Old Timers Race Car Club will be on display.

ü Entertainment includes:

o WERK Oldies Radio with music and contests, L.J. Mechem Band and D.G. the DJ

ü Food vendors, art vendors, general vendors, etc. will be present

ü Top 30 awards ceremony

ü Registration -$5.00 entry fee to be judged

ü Door Prizes 50/50 drawing

ü Judges will include: Mayor, Kris Ockomon & Rick Dawson , Anderson Speedway

ü Free Admission to the Town Center

ü This will be a rain, snow or shine event
