ABOUT THE FESTIVAL: The world's first fringe festival began in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1947, celebrating underground theater and performing arts of every variety. Since then, dozens of fringe festivals have appeared around the planet, in such cities as New York, Budapest, Calgary, Melbourne, Singapore, and London. The brand-new Hollywood festival takes over town from June 17 - June 27, and marks LA's first foray into the world of the Fringe.
