Fast-pace expert panel will dish out “60 sales tips in 60 minutes” at Sales & Marketing Executives International Minnesota event
With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, make sure your sales efforts are turning your balance sheet green

Join the Sales & Marketing Executives International Minnesota chapter for an energy-charged discussion that will give you the boost your company needs to “green” up sales in 2011. “60 Sales Tips in 60 Minutes” will feature a panel of Twin Cities sales professionals who will dish out 60 sales tips in 60 minutes; so come with your pencils sharpened because it’s going to go fast! You’ll hear tips on various topics such as financial investment, non-profit, manufacturing, promotional marketing and big box retail management. Our panel is up to the challenge to educate and talk quickly, so be ready to learn!

This fast-paced panel will be facilitated by Cindy Jorgenson of Brown and Bigelow. Jorgenson has provided countless creative solutions to her clients and emerged as a leader in her company and industry. The panel also includes the following Twin Cities executives:

Biography – Cindy Jorgensen
Cindy has 13 years of experience in the promotional marketing field and has provided countless creative solutions to her clients. With a strong focus on generating ROI, Cindy’s impressive client list has included Ecolab, Donaldson Corp., Domino’s Pizza and Tupperware.

Cindy’s projects have been recognized as the best of the best by her peers, competitors and other industry professionals. She was awarded the Golden Pyramid Award Winner, the highest award given in the promotional marketing industry, as well as the Master Advertising Specialist (MAS) designation, which is awarded to promotional products professionals who have completed education requirements demonstrating exemplary commitment to their profession.

Biography – Anne Newell
Anne has been a business consultant and coach for over 30 years specializing in training, strategic planning, organizational development, and personal development. She has founded Chicks with Checks and the Chicks Challenge Giving Game, and co-founded Profit 4 Nonprofits which provides revenue strategies, resources, and consulting to nonprofits. She has also published three books.

Anne holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of South Carolina Honors College and a Master of Education from the National Institute for Teaching Excellence at Cambridge College.

Biography – Janel Goff
Passionate about education, Janel has been a featured speaker at several Fortune 500 companies, Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce and at special area business events. She has been interviewed by CNN, CNBC, local TV and radio newscasts for her financial advisory experience. She has also been interviewed by Minneapolis/St.Paul Magazine, Business Journal, Business Minnesota and Upsize Magazine for articles on investing and finance.

Within Merrill Lynch, Janel is a Senior Vice President, a designation for financial advisors who have a successful track record and commit to a stringent consulting process. Janel holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Benedict.

Biography – MacKenzie Weldon
MacKenzie is the Midwest Regional Manager for Cambria Natural Quartz Surfaces commercial sales division in Minnesota. In her nine years that she has worked for Cambria she has learned the importance of researching your clients to fully understand and meet their needs, as well as the significance of educating clients about your product or service, every time you see them.

MacKenzie received a degree in Fine Arts at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and has since received service awards for her four-year Board of Directors role with the National Association of Remodeling Industry (NARI). She also serves on two committees within the Minnesota chapter of the International Interior Design Association.

Biography—Julie Heck
For more than 20 years Julie has excelled at creating and managing change that results in more effective marketing functions and business growth. As the director of product marketing at Skyline Exhibits, she recently led a major revamp of new product development and product marketing processes, which resulted in her being named a national finalist for the 2010 Outstanding Corporate Innovator Award.

Julie earned a Master of Business Communication degree from the University of St. Thomas and a B.A. in Journalism and Advertising from the University of Minnesota.
