Understand how 5S can help you declutter, get organized, work more efficiently and make it part of your team's routine.
5S is a simple tool that yields immediate and visible benefits and helps gain buy in from the team whether in a factory, office, healthcare or other work setting.
The 5S intensive is designed to give you:
a solid grounding in the theory of Lean and how it relates to 5S
an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of 5S
capacity to plan and apply 5S using a number of strategies and activities
guidance in meeting the challenge of the 5th S - 'sustain'
information on how to measure performance
Key features
The 5S Intensive is designed for team members, supervisors and managers who need to plan, implement and monitor 5S systems.
The intensive has a practical focus and will equip you with the ability to identify your goals, choose suitable areas to target and activities to achieve the goals.
The sesion will cover sorting and tagging, identifying and removing unnecessary items, setting up 5S systems, establishing procedures, using audits and checklists and linking with other Lean tools such as visual workplace, Total Proactive Maintenance and spaghetti diagrams.
The seminar applies adult learning principles to accommodate the range of learning styles. In addition to the presentations from the two expert facilitators and the opportunity for them to answer your questions the program includes case study examples and practical activities.

Cancellations
Numbers are limited to 20 participants to ensure a valuable experience for each participant.
A registration may be transferred to another participant should you not be able to attend; however it is important the you notify any changes to [email protected]
Cancellations made up to 10 working days prior to the event will attract a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations made up to 5 working days prior to the event will attract a 20% cancellation fee.

Information collected at registration is for the purpose of registration and billing. Participants' details will also be added to the LeanSkills email list for occasional updates/newsletters in support of their Lean progress. Each email will have an unsubscribe option. No information will be provided to any third parties or used for other purposes.
