50th Greater Seattle Japanese Comm Queen Coronation May 23, 2009

The Greater Seattle Japanese Community Queen Committee is excited to celebrate our 50th Anniversary with the 2009 Scholarship Pageant. The four esteemed candidates for the 2009 Greater Seattle Japanese Community Queen Scholarship Program are Mary Pearl Kawamura, Julieanne Naomi Hamasaki, Kiana Ye Mayumi Kobayashi and Mackenzie Kiyomi Katherine Walker. This year's coronation event will feature the four candidates of the 2009 court presenting a traditional Japanese odori or dance, a personal speech, creative expression, and an impromptu question and answer portion. The night will close with the crowning of our new queen and her court.
