4th Annual Chili Cook-off to Benefit the Women's Bean Project March 13, 2009

Join us for this fun event, sponsored by The Denver Press Club, the Denver Newspaper Club and the Society of Professional Journalists. Local media celebrities will supply their favorite chili recipes and compete for the coveted Gold, Silver and Bronze crockpots. In its 4th year, all proceeds benefit Women's Bean Project.

Since 1989 The Women's Bean Project has been helping women break the cycle of poverty and unemployment. WBP is a nonprofit organization that teaches job readiness and life skills for entry-level jobs through employment in our gourmet food production business. Women come with the goal of transforming their lives and moving toward self sufficiency.
