4RS Recycle for a Cleaner, Greener Tomorrow; We Want You to Recycle September 1, 2011

Recycling Program started on 9/1/2011 st 6 Central Wailuku School Campuses on Maui, sponsored by Maui Disposal Company and Kokua Hawaii Foundation. To celebrate America Recycles Day, each school will participate in:
1) Recycle for a Cleaner, Greener Tomorrow contest, decorating recycling carts.
2) We Want You to Recycle poster / project idea contest.
Prizes are cash, aquaponics and composting kits, recycling containers for classrooms / offices.
Disposal bins for paper only, cardboard and containers were provided to 6 campuses with disposal services at no cost to the schools. Recycle carts were provided for 11 workrooms at no cost to the schools.
Judges: Maui Mayor, DOE CAS, sponsor.
