(4pm) - Mick Shaffer & Affected Twang CD Release Show December 2, 2012

OK kids! It's finally here! We're throwing a CD release wing-ding dance party thing for my CD "Fool For Love" next Sunday in Potrero Hill at Thee Parkside as part of their Twang Sundays! And a lucky lucky SOB am I-- because playing their little hearts out with me will be Affected Twang: Danny Allen on guitar, Brandon Essex on bass, and Mattie Macgillivray on drums! (Heck I may just sit at the bar and listen to them!) We'll be playing tunes from the CD as well as some new tunes.

And as if that weren'
t reason enough to show up, I'm even luckier (and SOB-ier) to be having my good pals The Dull Richards doing an opening set! If you've not heard the Richards you are in for a real treat! Total originals and one of my favorite new bands!

And we all of us, give you this solemn and sacred guarantee to you my friends...Rock 'n' Roll music will be played. Probably loudly.

Thee Parkside is at 1600 17th St., in SF and is a text-book cool watering hole with great burgers and grub.

...and did I mention? ALL AGES WELCOME! YAIZ!! Bring a child and bend their young impressionable minds! It'll be fun!
