- Guided trails
- Enjoy Native Texas Butterfly House & Garden (Butterfly House closes September 30th)
- Historical Exhibits and presentations about the history of the museum and its founder, Bessie Heard
- Hourly Drawings (must be present to win)
- Visit with Heard affinity groups
- Animal talks and interpretation at animal enclosures
- Blackland Prairie Raptor presentation
- Hamburger or hotdog and a bottled drink included in admission
- Brisket and concessions available for purchase
