4/29 & 4/30/11 - "Choreographer to the Stars" Rhonda Miller and Pace University Performing Arts present "DANCE OUT LOUD!" April 29, 2011

You will want to put on your dancing shoes when you see the mix of jazz, tap, ballet, modern, contemporary and hip hop dance being performed on the Schimmel Theater stage on Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30.

WHEN: Friday, April 29th and Saturday, April 30th with a 2pm matinee and 8pm show both days.

WHERE: Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts, located in Lower Manhattan at One Pace Plaza (just east of City Hall), New York, NY 10038. Use the Spruce Street entrance between Gold Street and Park Row.

TICKETS: Tickets are $8 for students/seniors and $12 for adults and can be purchased at the door or ahead of time by emailing [email protected] for reservations.

ABOUT RHONDA MILLER. Rhonda Miller is the founder and co-owner of L.A.'s premier dance studio, The Edge, and was the leader of its convention business, L.A. DanceForce, for many years. She has been one of the most sought-after choreographer/dance instructors in the U.S. dance convention industry. She has worked with the likes of Drew Barrymore and Catherine Zeta Jones. For the Nickelodeon Upfronts: Justin Bieber, and Big Time Rush. Rhonda was chosen by Broadway choreographer-director Jerry Mitchell to choreograph for his renowned Broadway Bares, starring the likes of David Hyde Pierce, Tim Curry, Cyndi Lauper, Alan Cumming, Harvey Fierstein and Jane Krakowski. Stage Credits include: Nothing Like A Dame at the Marquis Theater starring Jennifer Holliday, Kate Clinton from The L Word, Jill Eickenberry of LA Law, Maureen McGovern, Tony Award winner Barbara Walsh (Company), and New York City Ballet soloist Tiler Peck; ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway at Town Hall starring Susan Lucci and Kimberly McCullough. Recently Rhonda conceived, directed and choreographed Cinematastic for Princess Cruise Lines, choreographed RENT for Skylight Opera, CHICAGO at Main State Music Theatre, A Christmas Carol for Pace University and I'm Beautiful, a music video directed by comedian Margaret Cho. Rhonda holds a BFA from the University of Utah and an MPA from Oklahoma City University. She is currently the director of the B.A. "Commercial" Dance Program (the first of its kind) at Pace University.
