41st Annual Messiah Sing-in and Concert - Civic Chorale of Greater Miami & Alhambra Orchestra. Dr. Kenneth Boos & Dr. Robert Gower, Artistic Directors; William Schafer, Accompanist; With Alhambra Orchestra, Alfred Gershfeld, Conductor. A Coral Gables Time-Honored Holiday Tradition featuring Cantor Rachelle Nelson and Guest Soloists. Sally Cummings-Ehlke, Soprano; Lissette Jimenez, Mezzo; Scott Tripp, Tenor; Donald Boos, Bass. The Orchestra and Chorale will present a short concert. Following this, all community singers are invited to join the Chorale in the singing of the Christmas sections of Handel’s beloved “Messiah.” Singers are asked to bring a “Messiah” score if possible. A limited number will be available for use on the day of the concert. Rehearsal for Participating Singers, 2:30 p.m.; Concert 4 p.m.
