The popular Bay Area family tradition will feature holiday performances and activities throughout the day. The evening Ceremony will include holiday caroling performances, a local celebrity emcee and a visit from Santa Claus. The festivities culminate with the spectacular lighting of the Square's shimmering 50-foot holiday tree, trimmed in ribbons, ornaments and oversized Ghirardelli Chocolate bars.
