Salsa Reno has created a beginning class that welcomes people who have never danced before and it challenges people who already have some experience. You will be introduced to salsa rhythm, work on the “basic step”, work on the foundation of salsa body movement, experience partnering techniques, turns and footwork in a friendly, social environment.

By participating in a Salsa Reno dance class you're immersing yourself into Reno's best salsa and Latin dance training program. There are 5 levels of salsa classes, specialty classes, Casino Rueda, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha on 2, Merengue and performance opportunities. Dancers also have the opportunity to dance salsa at various locales in and around Reno to help bring what you learn in the studio out into the "real world" of salsa.

Originally from Los Angeles, BB of Salsa Reno has been dancing Salsa for over 10 years and teaching since 2002. He regularly studies salsa with top salsa dance instructors from around the world. His current salsa teachers are John and Liz of Salsamania in Oakland, CA, ranked sixth in the world and he is endorsed to teach Bachata by Rodney “Rodchata” Aquino, the most respected Bachata instructor in the Bay area. BB of Salsa Reno teaches at Starlite Dance Center, the Truckee Community Center, Reno Dance Sensation, and and he is the host and resident instructor for Latin Thursdays at the Pearl Champagne Lounge in Grand Sierra Resort as well as Salsa Sundays at Trio Wine Bar in Truckee. With over 120 active students currently enrolled in weekly salsa lessons in the Reno area, he feels confident you’re learning a dance with a strong following that’s embraced by anyone that has heard about this exotic blend of Afro-Cuban-Caribbean music that is globally recognized as “Salsa.”
