3rd Thursday: After-hours at the Academy April 19, 2007

Filled with clownfish, cocktails, and conversation, the Academy after-hours is the place to be on the third Thursday of every month. Visit our aquarium and exhibits while listening to DJ Inexplicable and enjoying a cash bar. While you are here, be sure to stroll through Aquarium Under Construction: The Exhibit to learn the finesse of moving a 500 lb fish among other tidbits. In this exhibit, Academy experts illustrate each of the different pieces of the monumental task of getting ready for the new Steinhart back in Golden Gate Park.

This April 19th, the question will be asked what Green is. Let’s Green This City powered by PG&E is our co-host in celebration of Earth Day. So while you are here you can find out about what businesses are already doing and what you can do to become a bit greener.
