And the 2009 Award Winners are...Over the next couple of months individuals like yourself are nominating their favorite businesses and artists in Oakland in eight different categories:Oakland SoulRipple EffectNewbieGreenieNeighborhood DynamoYouth EmpowermentPillarInnovatorOn the evening of May 15, an artist or business from each category will be crowned the winner! So start nominating today!! There is no limit to how many businesses you nominate, and don't forget home-based businesses.
The only requirements to nominate are that it is:An independent for-profit business in OaklandORA visual artist/artisan who lives or has a studio in Oakland
