3rd Annual Fall Business Event September 13, 2009

The third annual Fall Business Event will be held on September 14th- 16th at the Troy Marriott, Troy, MI. This year’s theme is “Expanding Opportunities in the Defense Industry: The Upside to Michigan’s Economy.”

This event is a must for companies who want to diversify and are exploring opportunities in the defense sector. The program will combine distinguished speakers from government and industry, including US Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command, TACOM Contracting Center, Defense Contract Management Agency, and Defense Logistics Agency.

One panel will include leading prime contractors and suppliers who have successfully broken into this market.

Learn about the opportunities in the Defense Corridor of Michigan from a panel of economic development leaders and major contractors located in the corridor.

Other panels will explore technology opportunities, small business opportunities from the Army and Defense Logistics Agency perspectives, and a panel on how the military administers contracts once they are awarded and how to successfully perform on the contract after you win it.
