381 Days tells the memorable story of the beginning of the American Civil Rights movement. The exhibit recounts what happened after a quiet African American seamstress named Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat and move to the back of a Montgomery, AL municipal bus. Her arrest sparked the boycott of the bus service lasting more than a year, and set the stage for continuing protests by Blacks of unequal treatment.
