DuSable Museum was founded in 1957 by Dr. Margaret T. and Charles G. Burroughs. Their mission is to preserve the history and culture of the African American experience.
The event's theme for this year is "Goes Back To Our Roots" featuring original works of art and crafts. The festival returns to being a showcase for local artists, a juried exhibition of fine art and unique crafted work.

Refer to the website listed below for a schedule of their activities and performances. It's always a summer favorite. Plus, they support youth artists.
