36th Annual California State Chili Championship & 5th Annual Inland Empire Menudo Championship May 2, 2009

State Championship Chili Cook off and Inland Empire Menudo Championship. There is also a Open Salsa Contest. There is prize money and trophies for all cooking events. There will be chili and menudo tasting and JUDGING BY THE PUBLIC. There will be an all age Karaoke Contest, Live Band, Western Stuntman Team, Raffle Prizes and Kids Play area. There will be Craft and Food Vendors. Other contests include Chili Eating Contest ( how much chili with beans you can eat in 5 min.. $100.00 prize, 18yrs. or older) Miss Chili Pepper, Mr. Hot Sauce and the Famous Shoot and Holler. This is an International Chili Society Sanctioned Event and all of our ICS winners go on to compete in the World Championship, there the Red Chili winner has a chance to win $25,000 and World Title.
