Multimedia theatre group 31 Down presents a hauntingly hypnotic mellow drama; technology is hidden behind a sultry glimpse into a noir-styled tale of adultery, obsession, and voyeurism. Inspired by the real-life affair between Gustav Mahler's wife Alma and the Bauhaus architect Walter Gropius, the play is set in the late 1950s and finds private investigator Mike Sharpie encountering the same loneliness and preoccupations with death that marked the last year of composer Mahler's life.
