Known for being one of the Bay Area’s primo fine wine tastings and gourmet food events, the Mill Valley Wine & Gourmet is a benefit for the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce economic development and green business programs. This event takes place on Sunday, June 26, from 1- 4pm, on the Depot Plaza in beautiful downtown Mill Valley. Each year new wineries are introduced and mouthwatering gourmet foods are offered for sampling by both local chefs and food vendors. From cheese makers to ice cream the Mill Valley Wine & Gourmet delivers the best of the best. Attendees will enjoy chatting with winemakers and winery owners as well as the area’s local chefs and food producers. Ticket prices are $35 Advance, $45 at the door . The 30th Anniversary of the Mill Valley Wine & Gourmet will showcase many new wineries, as well as favorites of past years, specialty beers and ciders, and a variety of mouthwatering gourmet taste treats from new and returning food producers. NEW THIS YEAR - Mill Valley Beerworks will be pouring their own Mill Valley-brewed favorites; Crispin Cider, a natural hard apple cider in dry & honey crisp flavors, and made with organic honey; the Saint made with Belgian Trappist yeast and organic maple syrup; Lagunitas Brewing Company from Petaluma; 21st Amendment Brewery, San Francisco; Iron Springs Brewery, Fairfax; Marin Brewing Co/Moylans; Allegash from Maine; Mendocino Brewery; Anderson Valley Brewery in Mendocino; and a German and Belgian (Duval) beer table, all of which are bound to attract beer lovers from around the Bay.



There will be plenty of new wines to discover again this year including: Dragonette Cellars family winery who will showcase outstanding Sauvignon Blanc from Santa Barbara and the Central Coast region; Bedarra Vineyards from Healdsburg; Dunstan Wines from Sonoma County; Robert Keenan Winery from Spring Mountain, Napa, pouring chardonnays and cabernets; unique varietals from Napa Valley’s Crosby Roamann; Syrahs from the Central Coast by Orentano Wines; estate bottled red wines from Paradigm Vineyards in Napa Valley; Tor Kenward’s brilliant Cabernet Sauvignon; Many of the old favorites will return including Adastra Wines with incredible Pinot Noir; Nickel & Nickel Winery chardonnays from Napa; Carica Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon blends; great Spanish and Portuguese wines from Vinos Unicos; and don’t miss out on heavy hitters, Silver Oak and Twomey.



For the taste buds, Novato’s Apple Baum Bakery, Mill Valley’s Uncle Cody’s Hot Head sauces, and San Rafael’s Elegantly Organic bakery goods will be the new kids on the square. Another delicious addition not to be missed is seven flavors of shortbreads cookies from Napa’s Botanical Bakery. And many of the events past hits such as Nicasio Valley Cheeses and Jimtown tapenades will return to please the crowd. Weaver’s Coffee of San Rafael will be on hand to ensure that all return home with a clear head.

Each year over 1,000 people from the Bay Area and northern California attend the Mill Valley Wine & Gourmet to enjoy the ultimate sensory experience for food and wine aficionados. Vintners from Napa, Sonoma, Alexander Valley and Mendocino, as well as throughout the Pacific Northwest participate each year. And international wines from France, Spain, Australia, Greece and Argentina are also featured.



Founded in 1981 by Jim Canepa, former owner of Mill Valley Market, as a “little wine and cheese gathering,” the Mill Valley Wine & Gourmet Food Tasting has evolved over time to become the preeminent event of its kind in the greater Bay Area.
