3 Chimera with Gabriel Prokofiev May 1, 2008

Chimera Productions in association with Blüthner Piano Centre Presents Blank Canvas, a night of live classical, contemporary and experimental music led by pianist Will Dutta together with progressive DJ sets and guest performances by some of the leading DJs and soloists in London and abroad.

1 May 2008, 3 Chimera perform live with Gabriel Prokofiev (Nonclassical Records) on turntables.

3 Chimera are violinist Tadasuke Iijima, cellist Diego Carneiro & pianist Will Dutta, all in demand as soloists and collaborators around the world. Tonight features solo sets as well as Ravel’s ethereal and stunning Trio.

Gabriel Prokofiev is a prolific composer/producer/musician for the likes of the Elysian Quartet, Lady Sovereign, DJ Yoda & The Heritage Orchestra. His DJ sets delve into the world of music that is classical and not classical, taking inspiration from techno, grime, baroque, avante garde.
