2Tue: Capitol Hill Art Walk February 12, 2008

2Tue is held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month and features events at shops and galleries around the Pike/Pine corridor. The February 12th 2Tue will feature events at over eighteen venues from 14th street down to Melrose Ave and over to East Olive Way. 2Tue: Capitol Hill Art Walk events happen from 5-8pm. After the February 12th 2Tue, join Capitol Hill Link light rail station artist Mike Ross at meet-the-Artist Night at Seattle Central.

Don’t miss the Meet-the-Artist night at Seattle Central starting after 2Tue at 8pm. Capitol Hill Link light rail station artist Mike Ross will be here to discuss his Big Rig Jig installation from burning man 2007 and other projects. 8pm, Seattle Central, Room BE-1110 9entry near Broadway Performance Hall

Bootyland will be showing multimedia art from Eyecan Art. They will have print making, wax drawing and Sumi-e brush paintings all done by children. There will also be a children’s art project to do in-store during 2Tue.

Art at HaLo presents prints by Robin Nunnally and dance by Ricki Mason. From 6-10pm drop by an open rehearsal with LAUNCH dance theater, a contemporary dance ensemble developing a new work for Northwest New Works Festival at On the Boards in May. Also a second chance to view Dreaming with Siddhartha, prints from Buddhist imagery by local artist Robin Nunnally.

Seattle's own designer and painter Scott Ward will be exhibiting a hand picked collection of his oil paintings at Whimsy Home Décor.
