2nd Friday Ceili October 8, 2010

Local Salem Non-Profit, Céilí of the Valley Society sponsors the Second Friday Céilí– featuring live Irish music with called set and social dances (like pub dancing!) From 7 to 8 PM we offer a free "class" where the dances are "walked" through first then "called" as they are learned, and as the night progresses. Basic foot steps are taught at the beginning of the Céilí, so don't be intimidated if you have never Céilí danced before! Admission to the ceili, including a complimentary dance lesson for the first hour, is $10 general admission, $8 CVS member, $5 student, $30 family. All ages welcome! Great family event!
