2nd Conference Wooden Architecture in Karelia June 23, 2009

The Conference is going to be held in the Republic of Karelia, widely known for its numerous wooden architecture monuments and well-kept traditional villages, complete fragments of historical architectural and landscape environment.

Experts and authorities of Karelia pay special attention to studying and preserving of architectural heritage, including it in the modern life of the Republic and in the framework of international cooperation.

Organizers of the Conference are happy to present results of the above-mentioned work in Karelia and invite domestic and foreign colleagues to discuss the same problems being solved in other regions of Russia and abroad.
