2nd Annual Southern California Slack Key Festival January 18, 2009

The Southern California Slack Key Festival in Redondo Beach is the only location anywhere outside Hawaii where you can find the best Hawaiian slack key guitarists in the world on one stage together. Honoring one of the world's great acoustic guitar traditions, "slack key" (ki ho'alu). Featuring seven of the most respected names in Hawaiian guitar music today - a who's who of slack key, all recipients of numerous awards including Grammy Awards, Na Hoku HanoHano (Hawaiian Grammy) Awards, Critic's Choice and People's Choice awards.

Besides showcasing guitar virtuosity, the festival also features singing, award winning hula dancers, Hawaiian food and arts & crafts vendors starting at 11am.
