2nd Annual Obed Climbing Expedition July 11, 2009

Rock climbing has become one of the fastest growing activities at the Obed. Join us at Lilly Bridge on Saturday, July 11, as we offer the 2nd Annual Obed Climbing Expedition. Rick Bost of the East Tennessee Climbers Coalition will once again be on hand with several of his coalition members to display the basic techniques of rock climbing with ropes and harnesses. This free event, which is geared for beginners and for the curious, will begin at 1:00 p.m. (Eastern time) and should conclude by 3:00 p.m. Equipment will be supplied by the ETCC and the National Park Service.
